Cham graduated from Bart's and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2007 and has worked in general practice for over 10 years. Since qualifying he has completed several postgraduate courses in short term orthodontics and has also achieved a Certificate in Dental Implants. Cham is also a registered member of the Invisalign Mismile Network.
Cham enjoys helping patients get over their fear of the dentist as well as restoring patient’s confidence in their smile.
Outside of dentistry he enjoys going to the gym and playing football and cricket.
Dr Richard Shaw

Richard has been committed to the long-term dental health of his patients in Olney and the surrounding area since 1982.
His philosophy is to help people keep their teeth for life and when things need treating, to use the best techniques that modern dentistry can offer.
In 2013 he achieved a Masters degree in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry; proving his lifelong passion to provide the best care for my patients.
Dr Robert Ward

Robert qualified at the Royal London Hospital in 1992. After a spell in general practice in Essex and Central London he completed his MSc in Periodontology at the Eastman Dental Institute in 1995. In 2001 he was accepted onto the General Dental Council (GDC) Specialist Register. Since 2014 he has been working as a Specialist Periodontist in a number of different practices in the Northern Home Counties. Rob is delighted to receive referrals from his colleagues and is happy to use his expertise to treat patients with all ranges of periodontal disease.

Carol is from Bedford and has worked in and around the surrounding area all of her life. She worked as a Qualified Dental Nurse from 1989 to 1993 and then attended The Eastman Dental Hospital where she qualified as a Dental Hygienist in 1995. She has obtained the award for Oral B Patient Management and Motivation.
Carol enjoys helping and teaching patients about their oral hygiene. She endeavours to supply each patient with the advice and instructions on how they can maintain good oral health.
BSc Dental Hygiene (Birm 2006)
Lynda qualified in Dental Therapy from Birmingham in 2006 and joined us in July.
As well as routine dental hygiene visits, she treats gum disease, develops home plans to maintain dental health and offers children’s dentistry. Lynda is enjoying working with the friendly, professional team at Cobbs Garden.
When she is not at work she has 2 small children that keep her busy!
Simon Aranha, Practice Manager
Simon has worked in Dentistry for almost 10 years. He started off his career in Practice Management originally in Buckinghamshire and has managed dental practices both in the NHS and Privately.
Simon takes pride in his job as he likes to support and engage with people. He believes that in running a practice, patients are the primary focus. He endeavours to make sure each and every patient has a satisfying visit to the practice, one which is not rushed, where staff our genuinely interested in getting to know and care for each patient, as well as exceeding each patients expectations of coming to our practices.
In his spare time Simon enjoys cooking different foods and learning new recipes as well as socialising with close friends and family.
Since moving back into the area he has started getting into gardening.
NURSES AND RECEPTIONISTS
Harriet, Qualified Dental Nurse, GDC No: 254486
Dentistry has always been a huge part of Harriet's life and something she really enjoys. "We have so many lovely patients here and it makes it a really wonderful place to work"
Her aim for the future is to help make patients aware of options that are now available in dentistry and try make coming to the dentist a more pleasant experience.
When she is not at work she enjoys Fine Art and Photography. Harriet has grown up in the local area and particularly loves taking photos of the countryside in all seasons.
Julie, Qualified Dental Nurse, GDC No: 245333
Julie works mainly with Richard, providing Dental Nursing skills to make the patient journey a pleasant and caring experience. She loves interacting with patients and helping to put them at ease.
Julie has been told by patients that she is known to be very efficient and always smiling which helps relax patients, allowing them to enjoy coming to see both her and Richard.
Shaunna, Qualified Dental Nurse, GDC No:274819
Shaunna has been in Dentistry in 2015. She was drawn to a career in Dental Nursing as she enjoys working and caring for people.
Shaunna has a kind nature, she enjoys being in surgery and helping put patients at ease as well as speaking with and getting to know her patients whilst working on the reception desk.
Outside of work, Shaunna loves spending time with her family and in particular her Nan. She enjoys seeing new places and travelling as well.
Kate Samuel, Receptionist and Trainee Dental Nurse
Kate started with us at the beginning of 2019 . She has spent the past 4 years working with young people with learning disabilities. Kate knew she wanted to continue working with people in a helping and caring capacity however wanted to try something new. She chose dentistry as this combined her kind and understanding nature with learning a new hands on skill set, her aim is to ensure that patients feel comfortable and at ease when they come to the practice. She is looking forward to starting her training as a dental nurse later on in the year. In the meantime you will find Kate on our reception ready to greet patients on arrival to the practice.
Outside of work Kate enjoys travelling to different parts of the world and spending time with her close family and friends.
Donna has over 28 year’s experience in Dentistry. She has worked as Dental Nurse all the way through to Assistant Practice Manager. Donna started working at Cobbs Garden Dental Practice in early 2017 as head receptionist. Donna took on this role as she enjoys building relationships with each individual patient and looks out for their best interests in forthcoming treatment. She prides herself in her caring nature in this profession.
Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family and friend as well as cooking.
Hannah Buffam, Receptionist and Trainee Dental Nurse
Hannah started working in Dentistry over a year ago and thoroughly enjoys both nursing and reception. She hopes to pursue a career in Dental Hygiene and Therapy in the future. She is currently studying in order to return back to University.
Hannah is a keen traveller, amongst her travels around South America she is also an adventurer with her dog! She enjoys mountain climbing, meeting new people, experiencing new countries and cultures as well as trying new food!
